These are the activities on which ECDG plans to focus -

• Conduct “stock-taking” studies in order to determine what ECD is working, for whom and in which situations.
• Develop a knowledgbase where current thinking in the field as well as useful methods, models and tools can be shared.
• Obtain funding for a large number of small pilot initiatives as action research projects. Results will be shared in the knowledgbase.
• Organize a competition with a cash prize for the best ECD innovation.
• Establish an ECD endowment fund.
